    David, Country Partner at TNB Aura, covers the Philippines market and assists the team with due diligence, deal sourcing in the startup ecosystem, and other portfolio value adding activities. TNB Aura has been actively involved in the ecosystem, and David plays a crucial role on the ground as the market approaches maturity, especially with an uptick in venture activities in the Philippines in recent years. David is the Founder and CEO of Bridge Southeast Asia, a social impact venture builder focused on emerging markets. Prior to Bridge, David was Managing Director of New Leaf Ventures, a Philippines-based technology investment fund. David has over 20 years of experience investing in, managing, and exiting startups, and serves as a director in multiple for-profit and non-profit organizations in the Philippines.

    Zahra Zanjani

    COO, CUBO

    After taking up AB Management Economics from Ateneo de Manila University and obtaining a lean Six Sigma Green Belt, Zahra was exposed to the traditional construction industry. Starting with a background in sales and finance under FC Floor Center and the FC Group. she co-founded Cubo Modular, a pioneering manufacturer of sustainable housing solutions. Her achievements as a young entrepreneur have earned her a place as Forbes 30 under 30, Tatler’s Gen. T future leaders of tomorrow, and the Go Negosyo Young Filipina Entrepreneur awardee and other international recognitions. Through her endeavors, she continues to inspire and drive positive change in her industry for young minority women.

    Vicknesh Pillay

    Co-founder and Managing Partner, TNB Aura

    As the Co-founder and Managing Partner of TNB Aura, Vicknesh heads up the group’s sell-side and buy-side initiatives. Vicknesh started his career in Investment Banking before founding, operating and exiting his real estate mezz fund where he managed over $350 million. He was nominated “Entrepreneur of the Year” at the coveted Ernst and Young Entrepreneur Awards in 2013. Vicknesh serves as a Board Director/Observer at several companies where he advises and assists on their internal strategies and regional expansion plans. Having graduated with a double degree from Nanyang Technological University and dual MBAs from UCLA Anderson and the National University of Singapore, Vicknesh is passionately involved in the region's startup ecosystem. He is an appointed judge and mentor for numerous entrepreneurship workshops, conferences and startup competitions, contributing to the cultivation of aspiring entrepreneurs and startups.

    Frederick Go

    Special Assistant to the President for Investment Affairs, Office of the Special Assistant to the President for Investment and Economic Affairs

    SECRETARY FREDERICK D. GO is the Special Assistant to the President for Investment and Economic Affairs. He serves as Chairperson of the administration’s Economic Development Group or the EDG, and is directed to supervise and monitor, on behalf of the President, the NEDA, DOF, DBM, DTI, and their respective attached agencies. He also sits as Member of the NEDA Board Committees and is the permanent representative of the Office of the President to the Fiscal Incentives Review Board (FIRB) and its Technical Committee. By virtue of Executive Order No. 49, his office is tasked to ensure the effective integration, coordination and implementation of the various investment and economic policies and programs of the Government. He is likewise mandated to drive the timely delivery of investment projects, trade agreements and pledges, including those originating from international state visits and foreign trips. Before joining government, he served as Chairman, Vice-hairman, President, CEO, and/or Director in six (6) listed companies and over 100 corporations in various industries including media, retail, real estate, food, banking, finance, airline, airport, petrochemicals, gaming, and power over a span of 35 years. Prior to his appointment as SAP-IEA, he was the Presidential Adviser for Investment and Economic Affairs for a year.

    Jack Madrid

    President and CEO, IT & Business Process Association of the Philippines (IBPAP)

    As the President and CEO of IBPAP, the primary trade body and advocacy group of the IT-BPM sector in the Philippines, Jack is responsible for ensuring the country retains its renown as a global leader for IT-BPM services. He and his team launched the Philippine IT-BPM Industry Roadmap 2028, the sector’s blueprint for creating 1.1 million new jobs, becoming a US$59 billion industry with 2.5 million employees, and contributing 8.9% to the country’s GDP. Jack is a champion of the Filipino talent and an advocate of the IT-BPM employee, with IBPAP playing a critical role in promoting workplace flexibility and hybrid work for the sector. He is a seasoned business leader with over 25 years of experience heading strategy for digital innovation and transformation initiatives in various industries and organizations in Southeast Asia and Canada. Jack is a firm believer in shaping corporate culture around the customer, with a proven track record in developing meaningful customer experience strategies with swift execution and sustainable results. His varied work experience includes senior leadership roles at Citicorp, Ayala Corporation, Dell, Yahoo!, and MTV Asia. Jack is a graduate of the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

    Cyndy Tan Jarabata

    TAJARA Leisure and Hospitality Group Inc.

    Cyndy Tan Jarabata has diverse experience extending over two decades in the hospitality, tourism, and real estate. Founder of TAJARA Hospitality, the company represents owners, developers and investment funds on various development capacity. Her experience and expertise has led TAJARA to numerous successful projects advising multiple corporations on growth strategy and rapid expansion, creating long term relationships with owners. TAJARA is a leading hospitality consulting and development company in the Philippines working with clients throughout Asia. Client portfolio includes hotel and residential projects, mixed-use, integrated resorts, island developments and rollout of business hotels in different parts of the country. Cyndy is the inaugural and current Chairperson of the Philippine Property Awards and in 2022, was among the recipients of the ARES Power Women honours at the Property Guru Asia Real Estate Summit for her influence and contributions as an industry leader. A member of ULI (Urban Land Institute) Hospitality Development Council in Asia Pacific and co-Chair of ULI Philippines’ Hospitality Committee. Cyndy also serves as board trustee of several non-profit organizations, dealing with sustainable tourism, family planning and poverty alleviation. Organizes ENVision or Environment Vision, an annual case competition for students on climate change adaptation in hospitality and tourism.

    Jean de Castro

    Chief Executive Officer, ESCA Inc.

    A lawyer by profession, Jean is an experienced litigator with extensive construction arbitration and commercial litigation experience. She is the CEO of ESCA Inc., a Filipino-owned full-service engineering consultancy firm leading technology-driven solutions for the built environment. ESCA provides structural and civil works engineering and project management services to both public and private projects. She also leads ESCA International Inc. (EII), a pioneer in engineering outsourcing services outside the Philippines. She is a certified BIM Manager by the Building and Construction Authority (BCA) of Singapore and a certified Program Manager of the Philippines Constructors Association (PCA). Jean is also the only Filipino to have graduated from the Senior Executive Institute (SEI) Program of the American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC) in the United States. She is also a trained arbitrator of the Philippine Dispute and Resolution Center (PDRCI).

    Gladys Chan

    Senior Director, Marketing Head for IPVMC, Visa Inc

    Gladys Chan is currently the Head of Marketing of Visa for Regional Southeast Asia, responsible for overseeing the entire marketing practice for Visa in six key markets, spanning both consumer marketing and marketing consultancy for Visa’s clients. Prior to Visa, Gladys was the head of marketing for the prepaid mobile business of Smart Communications, Inc., where she worked for 11 years. Gladys started her career at Citi, where she held marketing communications and cards marketing positions. Gladys holds an MBA from De La Salle University and an MA in Communications from the University of Asia and the Pacific. She also currently serves as part-time professor of marketing in UA&P, where she has been teaching since 2008.

    Charlie Rufino

    Chairman, NEO

    Carlos "Charlie" S. Rufino is a renowned businessman and entrepreneur in the Philippines. He is currently the President of NEO and the Chairman of Threadborne Group. He also serves as the Director and JV Partner of Digital Edge Philippines, Inc. and is an Honorary Consul of the Republic of Ghana in the Philippines. He is a member of the Board of Trustees of De La Salle - College of Saint Benilde and is the President of Fr. Al's Children Foundation, Inc./ Sisters of Mary School for Girlstown and Boystown, Silang, Cavite. Mr. Rufino has been recognized for his entrepreneurial leadership skills, and he was awarded the ASIA CEO Entrepreneurial Leadership Team of the Year in 2011. He has been involved in various real estate development projects such as the Bonifacio Global City Masterplan and BGC Infrastructure, Pacific Plaza Towers, and Corinthian Gardens, among others. Currently, he is working on the Narra1, the first Data Center in the Philippines located in Laguna Technopark.Aside from his professional accomplishments, Mr. Rufino is also actively involved in socio-civic organizations. He served as the Past President of Forbes Park Association, Manila Polo Club, and the Rotary Club of Makati, among others. He holds a degree in Liberal Arts and Commerce from De La Salle University, where he also completed his primary and secondary education.

    Richard Raymundo

    Managing Director, Colliers

    With over 25 years of research and consultancy experience, Richard has been involved in various projects in Asia, particularly the Philippines, Hong Kong, China, Indonesia, South Korea, Malaysia, Vietnam, Cambodia, and Thailand. This has covered sectors from simple developments to large-scale mixed-use estates with office, retail, residential, hotel, industrial and institutional land segments. Richard has been involved in complex assignments that entail creative solutions, including brand conceptualization, destination development, land-use spatial analysis, and marketing strategies. After a stint in the regional office of Colliers in Hong Kong, Richard was appointed Managing Director of Colliers Philippines.

    Thomas Mirasol

    President and Chief Operations Officer, Federal Land, Inc.

    Mr. Thomas F. Mirasol is the President and COO of Federal Land, a premier real estate developer in the country. With over 31 years of management experience in property development, Mr. Mirasol has driven Federal Land to unprecedented success. He is successfully handling various roles in strategic planning, retail operations and development, residential and office project development, business development, commercial operations, sales, and marketing. Prior to joining Federal Land, Mr. Mirasol was previously the Chief Operating Officer and Senior Vice President of Ortigas & Company (OCLP Holdings, Inc.), seconded by Ayala Land, Inc., from 2016 until 2018. Mr. Mirasol earned his Master of Business Management at the Asian Institute of Management and his Bachelor’s degree in Commerce from De La Salle University.

    Rafael Jose Consing

    President & CEO, Maharlika Investment Corporation

    Joel Consing was appointed President & CEO of Maharlika Investment Corporation (MIC) in November 2023, following 11 months serving as Executive Director at the Office of the Presidential Adviser on Investment and Economic Affairs (OPAIEA), a government sector pivot following a 3-decade career in global capital markets, and as a multi-awarded corporate Chief Financial Officer. Prior to OPAIEA, he spent 18 years in various roles in investment banking and global markets at banks such as ING, Bankers Trust, and HSBC where the last role he served was Managing Director of the Financing Solutions Group in Asia Pacific based in Hong Kong. He then pivoted to an award winning 16-year career as Global Treasurer and CFO of International Container Terminal Services, Inc. From the start of his career in Multinational Investment Bancorporation in 1989, to now running the first-ever sovereign wealth fund of the Philippines, whose mandate is to invest in high impact sustainable projects, generate optimal return on investments, contribute to economic growth, job creation, and poverty alleviation, and develop intergenerational socioeconomic prosperity for the country.

    Hannah Yulo-Luccini

    Chief Investment Officer, SVP of Corporate Finance, DoubleDragon Properties Corp

    Hannah Yulo-Luccini is the CEO of Hotel101 Global Pte Ltd, the international hotel subsidiary of DoubleDragon Corporation. She is also the Chief Investment Officer of DoubleDragon and spearheads all the fundraises of the Company which now has a diversified portfolio of US$3 billion in real estate assets with a particular focus on recurring revenue generating properties which consist of a portfolio of Metro Manila Office buildings with its listed DDMP REIT, Provincial Retail through its Community Mall chain CityMall, Industrial Warehouse leasing through its subsidiary CentralHub Industrial Centers Inc. as well as Hotels primarily through the roll out of its own homegrown brand Hotel101 which today has a portfolio of over 8,000 hotel rooms and is the first Filipino hotel chain to expand internationally with its most recent launch of Hotel101 Niseko and soon to launch Hotel101 Madrid.

    Cesar Wee

    Wee Community Developers, Inc

    Cesar L. Wee, Jr. is the CEO of Wee Community Developers, Inc., a real estate company with over 18 projects across the Philippines. With roots in real estate since 1998, he has steered the company from its humble beginnings in 2008 to now employing a workforce of over 500 individuals. Cesar values integrity and mentorship, spearheading a mentorship program and leading Wee Comm to achieve an average of Php 8 billion to Php 10 billion in annual sales. He's a champion of smart work and real estate entrepreneurship, highlighted by his feature on CNN's The Final Pitch Season 5. Under his leadership, Wee Comm secured nine awards at the 2020 Philippine Property Awards, including the accolade for Best Breakthrough Developer.

    Alan Beebe

    CEO, ULI Asia Pacific

    Alan Beebe joined ULI in August 2023 and now leads ULI Asia Pacific’s strategic growth plan, which includes expanding membership and increasing engagement through a robust set of programs and events; sharing knowledge, and providing education on best practices for equitable and sustainable land use in the region; and driving impact in local communities through ongoing initiatives such as technical assistance panels and UrbanPlan. He most recently served as the President of the American Chamber of Commerce in China (AmCham China) and boasts three decades of business experience in the region. As President of AmCham China from 2016 to 2022, Beebe spearheaded strategic initiatives to foster robust U.S.-China commercial ties and enable foreign corporations, including American Fortune 500 companies, to thrive and prosper in China. He also served as Vice-Chair of the AmChams of the Asia Pacific (AAP), a regional umbrella organization supporting AmChams and American corporations across the dynamic Asia Pacific region. Prior to AmCham China, he held senior executive positions in global consulting firms and companies, advising clients in a diverse range of industries that include manufacturing, real estate, energy, and green technologies.

    Chris Panfil

    Managing Principal, Planning and Landscape, WATG

    Eli is an expert in sustainability and urban development with experience on five continents. He consults on urban innovation and development, is Vice-Chair of the Urban Land Institute in Hong Kong, and adjunct Associate Professor at the University of Hong Kong. Eli has led masterplans for new cities, urban regeneration, transit oriented development, reclamation and waterfront development, industrial, tourism and leisure projects. He is experienced in masterplanning and urban design, large-scale urbanisation and regional strategies, and climate change strategy and policy. In 2006 he led the ground-breaking creation of the evidence base for climate change in the London Plan, and in 2008 he pioneered creation of a mechanism to fund and drive low-carbon retrofit of existing buildings. Between 2013 and 2022 Eli was Director of Atkins' Planning and Urban Design practice in South East Asia and Net Zero leader for Asia; Asia Practice Lead for Consulting, Strategy and Advisory; and Chair of Atkins' Urban Planning Global Network. Prior to joining Atkins, he was at Arup in London and co-founder of startup localCarbon. Eli is a graduate of The Johns Hopkins University and has an MSc in Town Planning from the University of Newcastle upon Tyne. He is a member of the Pacific Basin Economic Council, a Fellow of the Royal Society for the Arts, sits on the Hong Kong Institute of Urban Design’s Public Affairs and International and Mainland Affairs Committees and the Advisory Board of AMRACE in Malaysia, and was previously Chair of the International Infrastructure Forum's net zero working group at the British Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong.

    Dan Voellm

    CEO & Founder, AP Hospitality Advisors

    Dan Voellm, MRICS is CEO & Founder of AP Hospitality Advisors, responsible for all aspects of the Firm, based in Hong Kong, covering all of Asia Pacific. He is also a member of Cayuga Hospitality Consultants, the global hotel consultant network organization. With more than 17 years of consulting experience, Dan Voellm has provided advice in 24 territories across Asia Pacific. Prior to rebranding the firm to AP Hospitality Advisors in 2021, Dan Voellm was Managing Partner of HVS Asia Pacific (2008-2020) responsible for five offices in Greater China and Thailand following his time as Vice President at HVS’ global headquarters in New York (2005-2008) conducting a wide range of appraisals, market studies and underwriting due diligence services in 22 states as well as Canada. Dan Voellm brings a strong understanding of the hospitality industry to AP. His experience in hotel and food and beverage operations in Germany, Switzerland, England and the United States is complemented by an Honours Bachelor of Science Degree from Ecole hôtelière de Lausanne in Switzerland. Dan works closely with key institutional and private owners of hotel properties, financiers, developers and investors, and has gained a strong understanding of their investment requirement and approaches to assessing market values of investment properties. Dan further advises on property and concept development and strategy as well as expert witness testimony. Dan is vice-chair of the Urban Land Institute’s (ULI) Hospitality Development Council in Asia Pacific and became a Professional Member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors in 2016.

    Eric Manuel

    Director, ARCH Capital Management Co Ltd

    With over 15 years of experience in real estate advisory, development, investment, and asset management, spanning both commercial and residential sectors, Eric Manuel joined ARCH Capital in 2018. He leads investment and asset management activities in the Philippines. Previously, Eric was Vice President and Head of Real Estate for Primeiro Partners, an investment bank providing strategic and capital advisory services to several real estate developers and financial institutions. He was also Vice President for Daiichi Properties, an award-winning developer in the Philippines. He received a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from Binghamton University and a Master’s Degree from the London School of Economics.

    Dustin Jefferson Onghanseng

    Co-founder, uHoo

    Dustin Jefferson S. Onghanseng is the CEO and Co-Founder of uHoo, an environmental data platform for the built environment to improve health and well-being, to decarbonize, and to enhance ESG. Prior to uHoo, Dustin was a management consultant at Deloitte where he accelerated the company’s revenues, advised and helped various clients raise almost USD100 million in funding, and assisted various organizations in go-to-market strategy and international expansion. His commitment to sustainability allowed him to be part of the Meaningful Business 100 2020 list, a winner of BOOM 2021, and a Tatler Gen T 2021 Honoree. Dustin was born in and grew up in Manila. He graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Computing at the National University of Singapore (NUS) under full scholarship from the Singapore Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA). He took his MBA from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) and also completed his Executive Education at Harvard Business School (HBS).

I specialize in business development and marketing for large-scale consultancy and professional services projects across multiple disciplines and markets. I have professional experience in South East Asia, Europe, Middle East and Africa consulting on, conceptualizing, defining and executing strategic and creative solutions.

    Eli Konvitz

    Sylvester Wong

    Vice President, Asia, ESG Services, AECOM

    Sylvester Wong is a 25 year veteran of designing cities and infrastructure around the world, and is Asia head of ESG Services, and Philippines Country Executive for AECOM. After San Francisco and Hong Kong, he went to where infrastructure could empower opportunity for over a hundred million.     Alvin Ang

    Professor and Chair, Department of Economics, Ateneo de Manila University

    Alvin Ang is Professor and Chair of the Department of Economics of Ateneo de Manila University. He was Director of Ateneo Center for Economic Research and Development (ACERD) from 2016-2021. He continues to be part of ACERD as a Senior Fellow providing economic briefings to corporate as well as government clients. He also is a favorite guest resource person on economic and policy matters on radio and television both in the Philippines and abroad. His professional experience spans more than three decades as an economic development specialist, investment analyst, corporate planner, program officer, lecturer, and officer in government, private sector and academic research institutions. He has taught for last 30 years full time at the University of Santo Tomas and Ateneo de Manila University. He has served as adjunct faculty at the Asian Institute of Management, Development Academy of the Philippines and Nazarbayev University in Kazakhstan. He has been consulted by the Philippine Government and various international development agencies on policy matters pertaining to the economy, labor and migration, competitiveness, among others. He earned his PhD in Applied Economics at Osaka University Graduate School of Economics. as a Research Scholar of the Japanese Government in 2006 and his Master in Public Policy from the National University of Singapore as a scholar of the Singaporean government in 1999. He is an alumnus of University of Santo Tomas, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics in 1989. He was the President of the Philippine Economic Society in 2013 where he is a lifetime member. He is a Fellow of the Institute for Money, Technology and Financial Inclusion at the University of California at Irvine and a Fulbright Senior Visiting Research Fellow at the Institute for the Study of International Migration at Georgetown University. He is a Christ follower. He and his wife Jo have been advocates on financial literacy and had taught on this topic in many circles within the country and abroad especially for the Overseas Filipino Workers.
