Jean de Castro, CEO of ESCA Incorporated, has been appointed Chair of Philippines for the Urban Land Institute (ULI).
Applications are now open for the third run of the ULI Philippines Mentorship Programme! The programme is open to all students and young professionals in the real estate industry under 35.
Mentoring is defined as “a supportive learning relationship between a caring individual who shares knowledge, experience and wisdom with another individual who is ready and willing to benefit from this exchange, to enrich their professional journey.” (Compass Couching and Mentoring: Tools and Resources, www.hlc.harvard.edu)
The Urban Land Institute Philippines, through the Young Leaders Group and the Women’s Leadership Initiative, established the ULI Philippines Mentorship Program in 2017 as an enriching avenue by which young individuals with strong leadership potential can gain a unique first-hand experience learning from the best of the best in the industry, expand their networks, cultivate skills, and develop their understanding of real estate. The programme aims to bridge traditional and new perspectives, foster ideas of innovation, and provide Mentors the opportunity to share industry secrets gained from their years of experience to these emerging professionals.
